Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole child of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, who was a manufacturer of tool and dies, as well as a former employee in a manufacturing plant. Her birth date was 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone was considered academically gifted as a child and began in second grade at the age of five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she received her diploma in 1975. A winner of Miss Crawford County, she was also a part of Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone relocated to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt to take on a job as a model. In just a few months, she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. In Europe, she was able to spend a whole year in Milano and Paris. Stone, however, became unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. She decided to keep her acting career going as an actress while living in Europe. Woody Allen starred in "Stardust Memories" it was a film with mixed reviews, at age twenty.
