Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports around the teenager age. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ, and wrestling. She made her professional debut at 18, at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents ended in less than a moment. After that, she went to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo ahead of a match against Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen by unanimous decision. This put a stain on the amateur record of Ladd. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, beating Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her for a 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 represented her debut fight as a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission at the end of the second round. Aspen's formidable wrestling ability defeated McGill as she managed to finish her fight in the third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at weight catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd failed to meet weight. But, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina as she pound her down for a second-round TKO victory. In her second fight, she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd finished Evinger within the first minute and got a performance of the evening bonus. Sijara Eubanks of Invicta FC was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first big fight. Both fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision with both fighters claiming one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak in 16 seconds. At the end of round three on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. The fight was with Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
